Senior Social Media Executive

We’re looking for a highly creative, trend led Senior Social Media Executive to join our client, a leading travel industry specialist based in Chester. Working closely with the Head of Social, the successful candidate will work across our client’s socials, planning and executing their growing social channels, taking ownership of content strategy via organic and paid channels through Meta and TikTok, whilst working closely with the wider social media team to promote commercial offers. You’ll have a strong understanding of content that performs, having a sharp eye for social trends, and the ability to turn brand messaging into engaging, platform native storytelling. The role is carried out in support of the overall marketing strategy and goals. This involves closely liaising with the communications and product managers to ensure content is social first and in keeping with their brand identity, along with KPIs for driving traffic to the website and increase sales. Previous experience in a Social Media role on socials, at a PR / Content / Media agency or brand is essential for the role, ideally along with a good understanding of the travel sector/travel industry experience.
