Location: Residential Units in 4 locations in SE London Department: Therapy Team Responsible to: Therapy Manager/Lead OT Salary Scale: NHS Band 6 Equiv. dependant on experience Hours: 32 Job Purpose The purpose of the role is to engage with the service-user client base - predominantly adult residents (aged 18 to 65) with Acquired Brain Injury and / or a history of substance misuse by working alongside service users, members of the Therapy Team including Rehab Coaches (NRC), and other staff at High View Care Main Duties & Responsibilities to: ▪ To assess complex patients with a range of diagnoses, identifying, developing and implementing appropriate specialist rehabilitation programmes based on clear clinical reasoning, based on highly specialist knowledge and experience of a range of procedures and conditions underpinned by sound theory and evidence-based practice. ▪ To be skilled at assessing and interpreting a range of complex factors relating to the patient’s condition which will impact on their ability to carry out their activities of daily living and assigned to a rehabilitation pathway, being responsible for leading and governing all aspects of the clients care depending on the pathway you have allocated them to ▪ To support the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the interpretation of assessment results and recommendations based on clinical need as part of the larger rehabilitation process...
