Workshop Repair Technician

We are looking for a Workshop Repair Technician / Administrator to join our client in a Temp-Perm role.

As the role includes administrative duties, it is essential that you have some kind of admin/IT skills (MS Office) to carry out this role.

We also require that this person ideally has some stitching skills (even if not professional skills but at least a keen interest in sewing/stitching, etc.) in your free time.

• Reply, respond and action emails from Clients, Consumers and Retailers
• Using various systems to record and make notes
• Processing items for repair - Assessment carried out in full to ascertain the magnitude of repair required, identifying all parts and labour time required

Overall Purpose

- Assessment of luggage to ascertain:
o Whether the item is genuine
o Whether the item can be repaired in line with manufacturer standards
o The level of repair needed to satisfy the customer/client request
- Act as repair SME (Subject Matter Expert) to assist the Call Centre operation, customers, clients and Management team as needed
- Inform Workshop Supervisors when parts orders are required or when the stock of parts falls below the minimum reorder level
