The Finance team are a sociable, engaging team supporting a customer-centric and cutting-edge multi-entity Business Function. The team are looking for a Finance Assistant to support their Financial Controller in a broad and busy role.

Your new role
As the Finance Assistant, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the finance function (the role is fully office based), supporting Directors across the business to achieve company strategies. Your responsibilities will include:> End to end Accounts Payable duties
> Day to day Purchase Orders / Invoices / Employee Expenses
> Prepare Payment runs
> Post and allocate Bank Payments
> Processing timesheets, expenses
> Ensuring that transactions are posted accurately and within set deadlines

What you'll need to succeed
Confident IT user - Strong Excel skills and knowledge of the Sage Line 50 AND Sage Payroll packages
Multitasking and open to additional responsibilities.
Proactivity and problem-solving attitude
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and exercise judgment.
Experience of all of the core responsibilities in your current or most recent position.
