Job description:
Partner Sales Manager Europe
Remote, Europe| 70,00075,000 base + performance bonus
Enterprise Software GIS / Geospatial Telecommunications Fibre Networks
The Opportunity
Our client is a specialist software company delivering advanced network management solutions to telecommunications and fibre infrastructure organisations internationally.
As the business continues to expand across Europe, they are seeking a commercially minded Partner Sales Manager to work closely with an established network of GIS technology distributors, helping develop and progress customer opportunities across the region.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing sales position, ideally suited to someone with experience in software sales, inside sales, partner sales or a technical commercial role who is looking to develop their career within a specialist enterprise technology environment.
Rather than establishing a new channel programme, you will work with existing partner relationships to support opportunities, engage with prospective customers and help convert demand into successful sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with established GIS software distributors and regional sales colleagues to progress customer opportunities.
- Engage with partners and end customers to understand business requirements, commercial priorities and potential solutions.
- Coordinate partner-led sales opportunities from initial qualification through the sales process.
- Develop productive day-to-day relationships with distributor sales teams and customer stakeholders.
- Arrange and participate in customer meetings, product discussions and commercial follow-ups.
- Collaborate with internal sales, technical and consulting teams to ensure opportunities are effectively supported.
- Assist with the commercial elements of proposals, pricing discussions and customer negotiations.
- Maintain accurate pipeline information, opportunity updates and sales forecasts.
- Help identify further opportunities within existing partner relationships and customer accounts.
- Support business growth across European telecommunications and infrastructure markets.
Qualifications:
You will be an organised, commercially driven sales professional who enjoys working with customers, technology partners and internal teams to move opportunities forward.
- Approximately 25 years experience in B2B technology sales, inside sales, partner sales, account management or a related commercial role.
- Experience with Esri, ArcGIS or the wider GIS partner ecosystem highly desirable.
- Experience supporting or managing software sales opportunities through to completion.
- Exposure to GIS/geospatial software, enterprise applications, telecommunications, network infrastructure or a related technical environment.
- Confidence communicating with partners, customers and technical stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating multiple opportunities and maintaining sales pipeline activity.
- Strong commercial awareness, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent English, with additional European languages advantageous.
- Willingness to travel periodically across Europe.
Candidates who have moved from a technical, solutions or sales support background into customer-facing commercial responsibilities are also encouraged to apply.
