HGV Hiab Driver

Our client is looking for an experienced permanent HGV HIAB driver to join their company, based near East Grinstead. The candidate must have a valid HIAB licence with hook and brick grab, must be experienced in driving up to a 26 Tonne vehicle and have no more than 6 points on their driving licence.

Main Duties

• To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business.
• Performing deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required.
• Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users.
• Check equipment has been loaded/unloaded in a safe manner.
• Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limited.
• Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle.
• Carry out all H&S procedures, whilst delivering for the company.
• Check paperwork to see that the delivery/collection loads are correct.
• Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for.
• Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded.
• Delivering throughout Kent and East Sussex.

Qualifications And Experience

• Holds a full clean driving licence valid in the UK, with no more than 6 points on licence.
