- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your hands-on testing experience and technical skillset)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with Saturdays on a manageable team rota)

Role Overview
Seeking a skilled, certified MOT Tester to join our busy, highly respected independent vehicle service centre team near Frome. You will conduct thorough MOT inspections across Class 4, 5L, and 7 vehicles, manage specialized fleet and taxi compliance checks (with full training provided), and maintain high testing accuracy in accordance with DVSA regulations.
Requirements
- Active, valid DVSA MOT Tester Smart Card (Class 4 & 7 essential; Class 5L capability is a major advantage)
- Proven track record as a dedicated MOT Tester within a professional workshop setting
- Solid mechanical knowledge, high attention to detail, and proficiency with modern testing equipment
- Full UK driving licence & own basic hand tools
