Fire Engineer - Bedford

Remote | Nationwide Projects | Bedford Office £60,000 - £80,000 DOE An established fire safety and compliance consultancy is looking for a Fire Engineer to join their growing business. This is a key appointment for an experienced Fire Engineer who wants the opportunity to take ownership of fire engineering design and help develop this capability within an established fire safety company. The role is fully remote, so location is not an issue. Their office is based in Bedford, while projects are delivered nationwide. The Role The successful Fire Engineer will take responsibility for managing fire engineering input across the full design stage, working on a range of complex residential, industrial and other technically challenging projects. As the company does not currently have an in-house Fire Engineer, this person will have significant autonomy and will play an important role in developing and building the fire engineering function. The company already delivers a broad range of fire safety services, including: Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) Fire Safety consultancy Fire Protection Fire Door inspections and consultancy Wider compliance and fire safety supportThe Fire Engineer will work alongside these existing services, providing technical fire engineering expertise from design through to project delivery.
