SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant – Richmond upon Thames Location: Richmond upon Thames Contract: Temporary Pay: £105–£140 per day PAYE The opportunity A supportive SEN school in Richmond upon Thames needs a Teaching Assistant who can combine attentive classroom support with dignified personal care for pupils with complex physical and learning needs. What you will do • Help pupils participate in lessons, communication activities and school routines. • Provide agreed personal care only when trained and authorised. • Support mobility, positioning and use of specialist equipment in line with plans. • Notice and record important changes in comfort, engagement and independence. • Work respectfully with teaching, therapy and care colleagues. What you will bring • Relevant experience in SEN, education, health or care settings. • A calm, respectful approach to intimate care and complex needs. • Willingness to complete role-specific moving, handling and care training. • QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
