Role: English Teacher – KS3–KS4 Location: Diss, Norfolk Contract: Full-time, fixed-term for one academic year Start Date: ASAP Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience A rural comprehensive school is looking for a committed English Teacher to join its teaching team at short notice. The successful candidate will deliver well-structured lessons that develop pupils' confidence in reading, writing and spoken communication. The Role Teach English across KS3 and KS4, following established schemes of work. Deliver lessons that develop comprehension, vocabulary, written accuracy and literary analysis. Support GCSE preparation through regular exam-style activities. Assess pupils' work and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work with colleagues to support pupils who require additional academic guidance. The Candidate Has QTS and a sound understanding of the English curriculum. Can deliver purposeful lessons with clear learning objectives. Demonstrates patience, consistency and positive behaviour management. Is adaptable and able to join an existing department quickly.
