Delivery of a first class anaesthetic service for elective and emergency cases in all surgical specialties.

Resident on-call duties covering emergency surgery, obstetric anaesthesia services or intensive care cover.

This is a 6 months fixed-term post open to anaesthetists with at least four years' experience in anaesthesia.

The successful applicant would be expected to be able to deliver elective anaesthesia under local supervision. Emergency duties include the provision of anaesthesia for surgical operating theatre suite, labour ward (obstetric anaesthesia/analgesia) and critical care (intensive care medicine).
