📍 Location: Camden, North London 📅 Start: ASAP 📄 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 🕐 Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday 💷 Salary: £39,000–£42,000 per annum A well-regarded school in Camden is seeking a proactive Site Manager to oversee its buildings, grounds and facilities. You'll work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the premises remain safe, secure and well maintained throughout the school year. The Role Take responsibility for the daily management of the school site. Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs and building inspections. Manage contractors, service providers and external maintenance visits. Oversee caretaking and cleaning arrangements to maintain high standards. Monitor health and safety compliance, fire safety and emergency procedures. Maintain site documentation, inspection logs and maintenance schedules. Support the management of school lettings and out-of-hours activities. Identify improvements to the site and help plan maintenance priorities. Respond to urgent facilities issues and arrange appropriate remedial work. About You You'll bring previous site or facilities management experience, ideally within a school, college or other public-facing environment. You should be comfortable supervising staff and contractors, managing competing demands and keeping accurate compliance records. A practical understanding of building maintenance, security systems and health and safety is important. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
