Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

Wood is looking for a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer on a full time, permanent staff basis. We can also consider a PSC engagement. This is an embedded role at our clients in Barrow-in-Furness. The successful individual should preferably have experience in an offshore environment and is willing to go offshore frequently.

The Role:

You will provide high-quality rotating equipment engineering support ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Morecambe Hub systems and equipment.

• Proven experience with onshore and offshore oil and gas operations, maintenance, and asset integrity practices
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment used in oil and gas production facilities.
• Materials and corrosion mechanisms
• Maintenance strategies and reliability engineering
• Offshore safety case and permit-to-work systems
• Industry standards (API, ASME, ISO, DNV where applicable)
• Educated to degree level, ideally MEng in Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered Engineer preferable
• BOSIET, MIST & Offshore Medical would be beneficial
