📍 Location: Greenwich, South-East London 📅 Start: ASAP 📄 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 🕐 Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday–Friday 💷 Salary: £37,500–£40,500 per annum A busy school in Greenwich is looking for a capable Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day condition, security and maintenance of its premises. You'll play a key role in ensuring pupils, staff and visitors arrive at a safe, clean and well-managed site. Key Responsibilities Manage site security, including opening, closing and access arrangements. Oversee planned maintenance and respond to urgent repair requests. Carry out and record regular premises and health and safety inspections. Coordinate contractors and monitor the quality and safety of their work. Supervise caretaking and cleaning staff, where applicable. Maintain fire safety records, risk assessments and compliance documentation. Manage site equipment, supplies and maintenance requests. Support school events, room layouts and premises lettings. Report significant issues and recommend improvements to senior leaders. About You You will have a practical background in maintenance or facilities management and experience coordinating the work of others. You should be confident dealing with contractors, prioritising repairs and maintaining accurate records. Previous experience in an education setting would be advantageous.
