Household Claims Handler | Bolton (BL7) | up to £28,000 | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm We are recruiting a household claims handler for an established, FCA-regulated general insurance business on the edge of Bolton. They are adding to their household claims team after taking on a significant new contract. What you will be doing * Running your own caseload of household claims from first notification through to settlement: escape of water, storm, accidental damage, theft, buildings and contents * Checking policy cover and gathering the information needed to move each claim forward * Appointing and managing suppliers on behalf of the policyholder * Keeping customers updated clearly and honestly throughout * Spotting and referring potential fraud What you will need * Household, home or property claims experience. Around 12 months is plenty, and validation, home emergency or desktop claims experience counts too. Strong insurance customer service backgrounds will also be considered. * Confidence on the phone and across multiple systems * GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above in English and Maths What you get * Up to £28,000 depending on experience * 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
