Position : Expeditor Looking to speak with people from an engineering / manufacturing / logistics background who have experience working as expeditors, purchasing administrators, procurement assistants, trainee buyers, purchasing and procurement etc Location : Brentwood, Basildon, Essex Sector : Engineering, manufacturing Salary : £28,000 Hours : Monday to Thursday days flexitime, Friday midday finish Hybrid : Initially office based whilst you settle in then moving to 2 days per week from home if wanted Visa : No visa support is available, you MUST have the right to live and work in the UK Site location is a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest train station. Own transport beneficial although there are buses running past the site. What does an expeditor do ? An expeditor works with the Procurement / Purchasing Team offering assistance with making sure that all relevant import / export paperwork is in place, chasing suppliers and logistics companies to ensure that delivery is expected, and generally making sure that products are available when are where they are needed. This role will see you working with a very well established engineering / manufacturing organisation that supplies technical products worldwide. Their business is growing at a very fast rate.
