Complex Needs Classroom Support Assistant – Barking and Dagenham Location: Barking and Dagenham Contract: Temporary Pay: £105–£140 per day PAYE The opportunity A welcoming SEN school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a committed professional to help pupils with complex learning and communication needs take an active part in a supportive school day. What you will do • Support accessible lessons, sensory activities and communication routines. • Follow individual support plans and agreed regulation strategies. • Encourage participation while respecting pupils’ pace and choices. • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and care staff. What you will bring • Relevant experience supporting children or young people with additional needs. • A calm, reliable approach and strong communication with colleagues. • Sound professional boundaries and safeguarding awareness. • QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
