Your new role

Our client, a well-established independent firm in West London, is seeking an Accounts Manager to join their close-knit team and play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on position offering a mix of accounts production, personal tax compliance and advisory work, together with responsibility for managing and developing client responsibilities include:Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clientsReviewing year-end statutory accounts prepared by junior team membersPreparing and reviewing personal tax returns for directors and sole tradersProviding tax planning and advisory support to clientsManaging day-to-day client relationships and acting as the main point of contactSupporting the Partners with business development opportunitiesSupervising, mentoring and developing junior members of staffEnsuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and personal tax
• Experience managing a client portfolio
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
