7.5 ton Delivery Driver

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Bolton. You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning. The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon. A DBS check will be required for this role. The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include: * Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role * Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time * Following a delivery route * Pre calling customers before arrival * Filling in paperwork as and when required * Removing all packaging from each delivery The ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have: * Experience within a similar role * CPC and TACO * 7.5 ton licence or above * The ability to handle heavy goods * A clean DBS The hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 6.30am – 6.00pm. The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £14.28 per hour, any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half. JBRP1_UKTJ
