Locum Audiology Trainer- Bristol & South West England
AUDIOLOGISTS – EVER THOUGHT ABOUT SHARING YOUR SKILLS AND TRAINING OTHERS?
I'm really excited to be recruiting for something a little different!
I'm working in partnership with an established UK audiology training provider who is expanding its training team, and we're looking for 6 experienced Audiologists / RHADs who would love the opportunity to put their clinical knowledge to good use in a different way.
Rather than spending every day seeing patients, how would you feel about helping other healthcare professionals develop their clinical skills and confidence?
If you're experienced in ear wax removal, enjoy working with people and have a passion for sharing your knowledge, this could be a fantastic opportunity!
We're looking for one experienced locum trainer in each of the following areas:
📍 Scotland – Central Belt: Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding areas
📍 Scotland – North: Northern Scotland and the Highlands
📍 North Yorkshire: Covering West Yorkshire, Teesside and Newcastle
📍 North West England
📍 West Midlands
📍 Bristol & South West England
You'll be helping healthcare professionals develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to carry out safe and effective ear wax removal.
You'll deliver engaging, hands-on training in microsuction and related techniques, using a range of equipment, while helping delegates become competent and confident practitioners.
We're looking for someone who:
🔷 Is a fully qualified Audiologist or RHAD
🔷 Has strong practical experience in microsuction and ear wax removal
🔷 Is confident using loops and/or endoscopic equipment
🔷 Enjoys teaching, coaching, mentoring or helping others learn
🔷 Has excellent communication skills and a patient, approachable manner
🔷 Can make themselves available for at least 4 days per week
🔷 Is happy to travel across their region, including occasional overnight stays
🔷 Holds a driving licence and is confident travelling
Previous training experience would be fantastic, but what really matters is having the clinical skills, confidence and ability to explain things clearly to others.
SOUND LIKE SOMETHING YOU'D ENJOY?
This isn't your typical audiology locum role, and that's exactly what makes it so interesting!
If you love audiology but fancy using your skills in a different way, I'd really love to have a chat.
And if you're reading this thinking, "I know someone who would be absolutely brilliant at this!" please do share it with them.
