Part-time After-School Nanny – Chiswick, London W4 – £19–£22 gross per hour

• Location: Chiswick, London (W4)
• Children: Boy aged 12 and girl aged 9
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 3pm–7pm (20 hours a week); extra hours may be available in school holidays (typically 9am–6pm); occasional paid evening babysitting
• Salary: £19–£22 gross per hour (about £380–£440 gross per week for 20 hours)
• Start: ASAP

A family in Chiswick is looking for a friendly, reliable and organised person to support their two school-aged children. As the children become more independent, this is not a traditional full nanny role – they want a responsible presence at home who helps afternoons run smoothly and encourages independence. The 12-year-old returns home independently by school bus; the 9-year-old needs collecting from school (about 25 minutes on foot or two stops by tube). Applicants from different backgrounds are welcome; exclusive professional-nanny experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect the 9-year-old from school and occasionally accompany both children to activities
• Supervise and assist with homework in English; check it is completed
• Prepare snacks and simple meals; help the children stay organised
• Support afternoon routines and encourage age-appropriate independence
• Children's laundry (wash, fold, put away) and keep bedrooms/personal areas tidy
• Tidy after snacks and meals; no deep cleaning

Requirements

• Good English for homework support
• Previous experience with children preferred (nannies, teachers, TAs, students and other relevant backgrounds welcome)
• Reliable, organised and confident with older children
• Looking for a long-term role; right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS and paediatric First Aid preferred
