Our 12-month Graduate Training Program will help you build the technical expertise, commercial confidence and customer relationships to launch an exciting career in technology sales.

As a Graduate Field Sales Engineer, you will work with experienced colleagues and leading automotive customers to explore complex challenges, shape innovative system-level solutions and turn opportunities into long-term value and growth. You do not need to arrive as an automotive, semiconductor or AI expert - we will help you build that knowledge. What matters most is your curiosity, willingness to learn, commercial ambition and ability to build trusted relationships.

Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ) is a global semiconductor leader at the intersection of the physical and digital worlds. Our technologies enable customers to sense, measure, connect and interpret the world around us helping turn breakthrough ideas into meaningful impact at the Intelligent Edge.

In our Automotive team, you could help create safer, cleaner and more intelligent mobility contributing to technologies that improve how people and communities move around the world. Your work could support software-defined vehicles, electrification, driver and cabin intelligence, connectivity, intelligent sensing and next-generation energy systems.

Your graduate experience

From day one, you will join a graduate community and learn by doing through structured training, mentoring, customer visits, field shadowing and live assignments. You will build practical skills in semiconductor technology, automotive systems, consultative selling and commercial execution, connect with senior leaders, and gain opportunities to present your ideas. As your confidence grows, you will take on greater ownership of customer opportunities and growth initiatives, supported by experienced colleagues.

What you will do

  • Connect with customers: Build trusted relationships, ask insightful questions and understand the technical and business challenges that matter most that lead to impactful outcomes.
  • Discover and develop opportunities: Identify customers and growth opportunities, then help progress them from early idea to technical validation, design win and production.
  • Create customer value: Show how ADI’s system-level solutions solve meaningful problems and deliver measurable impact.
  • Work as one team: Collaborate across applications, product, marketing, customer service and account teams to deliver the best outcome.
  • Turn insight into action: Use approved digital and AI tools responsibly, and share customer and market learning that can influence decisions, product strategy and innovation.
  • Represent ADI professionally: Engage customers and industry events while keeping opportunity plans, forecasts, actions and CRM information current.
  • Continuous investment in learning about the technologies, markets, operations and the end to end value chain of working with customers.

What you bring

  • High learning agility: a strong curiosity about technology, customers and the commercial impact of engineering, with the willingness and ability to learn quickly, seek feedback and apply new knowledge.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication, with the ability to listen well and make complex ideas easy to understand.
  • Analytical thinking and a structured, creative approach to solving problems.
  • Energy for building relationships and collaborating across teams, cultures and functions.
  • Initiative, resilience, personal responsibility and the organisation to balance priorities and follow through.
  • Interest in using AI-enabled tools responsibly to analyse information, improve productivity and support customer decisions.
  • A STEM degree is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility to work in the office as required, travel 25–40% of the time, and hold a valid driving licence and passport.

Where your career could take you

  • Make a positive impact: Work on real customer opportunities and technologies that enable safer, cleaner and more energy-efficient mobility helping create a more sustainable future for people and communities around the world.
  • Build your future: Develop towards a permanent field-based role and a longer-term career in account management, strategic sales or commercial leadership.
  • Grow with support: Learn from experienced leaders through mentoring, coaching and increasing customer responsibility.
  • Be rewarded and included: Receive an attractive salary and benefits package in a collaborative environment where different perspectives are valued.
