What youll do

As Door Person/ Luggage Porter youll love what you do and take pride in taking careof our guests:

• You will be responsible for welcoming guests in a professional courteous manner to ensure guests are immediately settled into a warm hospitable atmosphere so they feel at home and to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
• Part of your main duties will include handling luggage delivery and collection.
• As our Doorperson you will provide all passers-by and visitors with a positive first impression of the hotel whilst working closely with the security team to always ensure the building and our guests are kept safe.
• Youll also show flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests special requests and challenges that may arise during the day. Sometimes you will be asked to run an errand for our guests or operational departments.
• You will be expected to wear and adequately use our earpiece / communication device VOCERA at all times during your shift to communicate all arrivals departures and relevant information to the operational teams collaborating closely with our Welcome Hosts and Butlers.

The operational hours of workare shift-based and may be subjected to change. These hours are currently setas:

• 12-hour shifts with a45-minute break
• Working hours maystart at 6:45am 9:00am or 12:00pm but flexibility is expected as these times aresubject to change
• Shift patterns willbe arranged with the Head Doorman and you will be assigned to work a total of 7shifts every two weeks

What youll bring

• Previous experience asa Door Person / Luggage Porter preferably in aluxury hotel
• A flexible and spontaneous approach that allows to support different departments outside a door persons daily task
• A valid UK driving licence (holding a licence for three years with no points)
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.

PreferredSkills:

• Previous experiencein a 5-star luxury hotel or similar
