A well-resourced secondary school in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a practical, visionary Head of Design & Technology to lead its technical faculty on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January. Job Overview Design & Technology plays a prominent role in this school's academic and vocational identity. The successful applicant will take responsibility for workshop health and safety, machinery maintenance, curriculum development, and GCSE/A-Level coursework (NEA) moderation across Resistant Materials, Product Design, and CAD/CAM. Working closely with workshop technicians and department staff, you will guide pupils through the full design cycle, 3D modeling, laser cutting, and precision manufacturing. This is a full-time, permanent contract.
