Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Learning Mentor to support the learning of pupils with SEMH in one of our inspirational Alternative Provisions in Shildon to start ASAP on a Temporary to Permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.

About the School:

• The role is based in an inspirational Alternative Provision in Shildon.
• The School supports pupils aged 11-18 with varying levels of SEMH and SEND who have been temporarily excluded from mainstream School.
• The School has an outstanding supportive culture and Leadership Team, where staff work as a Team within classrooms to provide high standards of support to pupils.

Pay, Hours and Contract:

• Pay - Between £14.25-17 per hour
• Hours - 09.30 to 14.30, Monday to Friday
• Contract - until the end of the Academic Year in July 2027. Temp to Perm Contract.
• Start Date - ASAP
• Location - Shildon
