Start Monday is recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing engineering business looking to strengthen its team with an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer. If you're confident working on commercial kitchen equipment, have strong fault-finding skills and enjoy getting the job done properly, this could be just the opportunity you've been looking for. You'll be joining a business that invests in its engineers, offering ongoing manufacturer training, opportunities to develop your technical skills and a varied workload supporting customers across London and the Home Counties. The Role You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a wide range of commercial catering equipment, with occasional installation work. Equipment includes: * Rational SCC and iCombi Pro ovens - gas and electric * Commercial dishwashers and glasswashers * Fryers and griddles * Bratt pans * Salamanders and chargrills * A variety of other commercial kitchen equipment Manufacturer training is available on additional product ranges, giving you the opportunity to broaden your skills and develop your expertise. What You'll Need Essential: * COMCAT 1, 2, 3 and 5 * CCN1 and CCCN1 * Current Gas Safe registration covering natural gas and LPG * Proven commercial catering equipment servicing and repair experience * Experience working on Rational SCC and iCombi Pro ovens, both gas and electric * Experience servicing warewashing equipment * Good electrical fault-finding skills * Full UK driving licence Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or HNC would be a real advantage. Salary, Hours & Benefits * £48,000-£55,000 BASIC salary, depending on experience * Overtime opportunities to increase your earnings * Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm * 30-minute unpaid lunch break * 1 week in 5 on-call rota * Company van and fuel card * Company tools and workwear * Ongoing manufacturer and in-house training * Long-term career opportunities with a growing business Interested?
