📍 Location: Manchester 📅 Start: ASAP 📄 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 🕐 Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm 💷 Salary: £45,000–£51,000 per annum This is a great opportunity for an experienced School Business Manager to join a successful primary school in Manchester and take responsibility for the smooth running of the school's finance, administration, HR and operational functions. ⚠️ Previous School Experience Essential You should have previous experience working within a school, academy or education setting, with a strong understanding of school finance, compliance and day-to-day operations. What You'll Be Doing Managing the school's budget, financial monitoring and reporting Supporting the Headteacher and Governors with financial planning Overseeing HR administration, payroll and staff records Managing contracts, purchasing and relationships with suppliers Taking responsibility for premises, estates and health & safety Ensuring school policies, records and compliance requirements are maintained Supporting recruitment, onboarding and safer working practices Preparing reports and information for Governors and senior leaders Managing administrative systems and supporting the wider office team About You You will be organised, commercially aware and confident managing a broad range of school business functions. Experience with school finance systems and MIS platforms such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom would be advantageous.
