Job Requirements
Talent by Sears is acting on behalf of their client who are looking for a Team leader to join their team in Cannock. The Team Leader will need to have previous experience of working within a Children’s Residential setting caring for those with Learning Disabilities. The company specialises in the care of children between the ages of 8-18, with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Emotional Behavioural Disorder (EBD).
Their homes are Ofsted registered to care for 2 young people and are currently all rated as “GOOD or OUTSTANDING with Ofsted”. This candidate must have sound knowledge of the Quality Care Standards that govern Children’s Residential settings and have the skills and qualities needed in providing the high quality of care to the children residing at the home.
Some of the duties and responsibilities held by the successful candidate include: -
- Lead and supervise care staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to promote professional development.
- Ensure all safeguarding procedures are rigorously followed, always maintaining a safe environment for children.
