Joinery Workshop Manager

Summary Overall responsibility for leading and managing the joinery operations within the workshop, ensuring that all manufactured joinery is produced safely, to the required quality and in accordance with agreed programmes and budgets. The Joinery Manager controls the day-to-day activities of the bench joinery team, coordinates with CNC/machining Supervisor and takes a proactive role in problem solving and continuous improvement across the workshop. Role and Responsibilities Planning and Monitoring * Works with the Logistics Manager to ensure programmes and key dates are met * Check job boards and ensure all work instructions, drawings, and schedules are understood by the team. Plan the works and raise queries in a timely manner. * Monitor progress against programme tasks and feedback any issues to the Production Manager. * Support with materials control – check stock levels, prepare lists for ordering, and organise job materials for efficient working. * Record completed works and report to the Production Manager for production close-out.
