Experienced Night Heavy Forklift/Reach Stacker Driver

We have a vacancy available for an Experienced Night Reach Stacker Driver based at our Daventry Depot. If you have previous experience in Reach stacker driving or a valid Forklift truck with at least 2 years’ experience then this could be the role for you. This Position is permanent and your total flexibility will be required to fulfil this challenging, yet rewarding role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading various sizes and weights of ISO shipping containers.
• Stacking containers in allocated areas.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and a reasonable knowledge of how the machine works.
• Possessing the skills to operate Empty Container Handlers also, while not essential would be of great advantage, again Kalmar, Konecranes and Sany built machines is desired.
• Provide cover for our Tug Drivers when required – training on the Tug will be provided

Candidates will be required to remain focused under pressure, be a team player and have good attention to detail to achieve an accurate, on time service to our customers and colleagues.
