About the Role
Social work is at the heart of social and community innovations in mental health service in Trafford. An exciting opportunity has arisen, and we currently have a full-time and a part-time social work vacancy within the Adults Mental Health Social care Team in Trafford. This is an exciting time to work as a mental health social worker due to the recent community transformational work which recently took place as our social workers transitioned from an integrated service, back under the management of Trafford council. is underway with the aim to contribute to better practice, better mental health outcomes and place-based service which provide right care, at the right place, and the right time. Within the world of social work this reflects the prevent, reduce, delay statutory requirements within the Care Act 2014 and the importance of the wellbeing principle.
Within this social work role, the expectation will be that for the people you support lead fulfilling lives and reach their potential to live as independently as possible, that you work in a holistic approach, with the person and their social network, helping to strengthen and build sustainable families and social capital.
