Gas Engineer

\n Location: North Somerset
\n Salary: £41,442 per annum
\n Contract: Permanent
\n Hours: 39 hours per week

The Role

\n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a well-established housing provider covering properties across North Somerset.

\n The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas works within residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with current gas safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
\n \n

\n
• Carry out gas servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding within domestic properties.
\n
• Diagnose and resolve faults on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
\n
• Ensure all works comply with current gas safety regulations and health & safety legislation.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
\n
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
\n
• Work independently and manage workloads effectively.
\n

Essential Requirements
\n \n

\n
• Current domestic gas qualifications, including CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, WAT1 and CEN.
\n
• Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications.
\n
• Proven understanding of gas safety and health & safety legislation.
\n
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
\n
• Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Confident using digital systems and technology.
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Previous experience working within social housing or housing associations.
\n
