Blue Arrow is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and nationally recognised logistics partner based in Coalville, Leicestershire (LE67).

Due to the successful launch of a new contract, we are now seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join a busy mixed freight operation offering ongoing work and immediate starts.

\n

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular shifts, competitive pay rates and long-term opportunities within a growing transport operation.

• Class 1 Day Drivers

• Class 1 Night Drivers

• Class 1 Tramper Drivers

As this is a 24-hour, 7-day operation, a variety of shift patterns are available to suit different lifestyles and commitments.

The Role\n

Drivers will be responsible for carrying out general haulage deliveries across the UK, operating a modern fleet of well-maintained vehicles. Work will involve the safe and efficient transportation of mixed freight while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance and vehicle care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Delivering mixed freight throughout the UK
\n
• Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting
\n
• Ensuring load security and compliance with transport regulations
\n
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery documentation
\n
• Adhering to drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
\n
• Representing the business professionally at customer sites
\n

Driver Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
\n
• Valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Strong understanding of UK driving legislation and compliance requirements
\n
• Professional and customer-focused approach
\n

Pay Rates Class 1 Days\n

\n
• Monday to Friday: £16.50 per hour
\n
• Saturday: £21.00 per hour
\n
• Sunday: £22.34 per hour
\n

Class 1 Nights\n

\n
• Monday to Friday: £19.25 per hour
\n
• Saturday: £22.34 per hour
\n
• Sunday: £23.50 per hour
\n

Class 2 Days\n

\n
• Saturday: £16.75 per hour
\n
