\n
\nWorking as a TA is one of the best ways to build real classroom experience, find out if teaching is right for you and strengthen your application for a PGCE or teacher training.\n

The role\n
\n

\n
• Supporting the class teacher with lessons and daily classroom routines
\n
• Working with individual pupils and small groups on literacy and numeracy
\n
• Helping pupils with additional learning needs (ALN) access their learning
\n
• Creating a safe, positive and encouraging learning environment
\n

About you\n
\n

\n
• A degree in any subject – education, psychology, English, maths and sport are all great backgrounds
\n
• No TA qualification needed – experience with children through coaching, tutoring, youth work or childcare is a bonus
\n
• Reliable, patient and keen to learn
\n
• An Enhanced DBS and EWC registration (or willing to apply) – we'll guide you through both
\n
