Responsibilities

Deliver creative and engaging Food Preparation & Nutrition lessons.
Teach across the secondary age range, including GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition.
Inspire students to develop their practical skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for food and nutrition.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and abilities of individual students.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the DT department and wider school.
Maintain strong classroom management and a safe, purposeful learning environment.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Food Preparation & Nutrition / Food Technology.
Ability to teach to GCSE level.
A genuine passion for Food, Nutrition and Design & Technology.
Strong communication, organisational and classroom management skills.
A positive and adaptable approach to teaching.
