Team Leader, Children's Residential Home (EBD)

Location: Greenford, West London We are recruiting an experienced Team Leader for a children's residential home in Greenford supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands on with young people while taking the lead on shift. The role * Lead shifts and make sure the home runs safely and smoothly * Support, guide and role model good practice for residential support workers * Help young people with their education, independence skills and emotional wellbeing * Keep accurate records, daily logs and incident reports * Work alongside the management team to meet Ofsted standards What we are looking for * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or working towards it * At least 1 year's experience in children's residential care, ideally with some shift leading experience * Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour support * Resilient, patient and calm under pressure * Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply) and the right to work in the UK * [Full UK driving licence] What's on offer * Ongoing training and a clear route to Deputy Manager * Extra pay for sleepins * A supportive team and a provider that genuinely cares about outcomes for young people Interested?
