Production Operatives - Ashton-in-Makerfield
\n
Major Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in Ashton in Makerfield, Wigan WN4.
\n
Due to continued growth and increased customer demand, we are looking for multiple Production Operatives to join a busy, fast paced manufacturing team on a temporary ongoing basis.
\n
The Role
\n
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured, packed, and prepared to the highest quality standards.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch \n
- Labelling products accurately and efficiently \n
- Preparing raw materials for the production process \n
- Palletising finished goods safely and securely \n
- Operating production machinery following full training \n
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards \n
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area \n
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times \n
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets \n

Working Hours
\n
Rotating weekly shifts (Monday to Friday):
\n
- \n
- 06:00 - 14:00 \n
- 14:00 - 22:00 \n
- 37.5 hours per week \n
- Overtime available based on business requirements \n
\n
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
\n
Overtime is paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday and double time up to 10pm on a Sunday.
