Job Description: Optical Branch Manager

ROLE – Branch Retail Manager

REPORTS TO – Area Manager

ROTA -
Week 1 - Monday - Saturday (1 Mid week day off)
Week 2 - Monday-Friday

Are you a qualified Dispensing Optician ready to take the next step in your career? I am working with an independant family owned company looking for a passionate and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead our established Putney team and drive exceptional customer experiences.

The Opportunity

As Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in the success of the practice, balancing commercial performance with outstanding patient care. You'll lead and develop your team, build strong customer relationships and create an environment where both colleagues and customers feel valued.

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the practice while driving growth, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing team

• Driving branch growth and commercial success

• Delivering exceptional customer service and patient experiences

• Monitoring performance and implementing strategies to achieve targets

• Building a positive, supportive and engaging team culture

Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

You will be a confident and experienced Dispensing Optician with strong leadership skills and a commercial mindset. You'll enjoy developing others, leading by example and creating a successful branch environment.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Dispensing Optician

• Fully registered with the GOC

You'll ideally have:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A positive, proactive approach to leadership

• Commercial awareness and an interest in business performance

• The ability to inspire, motivate, and support others

• A desire to learn, grow, and build a career in management
