Full job description MOT Tester Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent – 12 weeks Hours: 37 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 7:00am – 4:45pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 rest day each week Weekends: No weekend working The Role We are currently recruiting for a qualified MOT Tester to join a busy and professional vehicle testing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Taxi Compliance Tests in lieu of MOTs, ensuring Hackney Carriage and Private Hire vehicles meet the required safety, licensing and council standards. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week temporary period. You will play an important role in maintaining public safety by ensuring vehicles are inspected thoroughly and comply with the relevant regulations.
