Engineering Technician (ElectricaL Controls)

We are looking for an Engineering Technician (ElectricaL Controls) to work for a Renewables client in the North West You will be covering sites in Preston and Warrington Other important relationships: On a daily basis the position involves close, regular contact with the Area Manager who will direct you. Operations staff may contact you for advice and guidance on training during normal working hours and outside these hours in line with the on-call ROTA. You will work closely with Operations staff supporting them during servicing and guiding them or helping them to deal with breakdowns and where possible, passing on skills in order that they can take on more routine maintenance, freeing your time for technical work. You will also work with other members of the Engineering team; the operations team and the projects team in order to achieve your aims as set out below. Department objectives: To maximise electrical production and reduce operational costs by taking responsibility (where this is economically beneficial) for the operation and maintenance of as much plant and equipment as possible. Key to this will be our ability to operate and maintain our own generating sets and gas processing plant.
