We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join or Major Projects (Scotland) team. Yo will be based or Edinbrgh office (Newbridge). This is a senior position reflected in a salary which will attract a Personal Contract. Or Major Projects team ensres the contining safe and reliable operation of or gas transmission and LNG assets; this involves the constrction, pgrade or replacement of installations and eqipment of varios sizes operating within the high-pressre transmission system and on or satellite LNG sites.

In the role of Project Manager (Mechanical) yo will be responsible for delivery of projects associated with the high-pressre gas transmission system, inclding pipelines and above grond installations. This incldes feasibility stdies, coordination of design, project planning, procrement, site installation and commissioning either as standalone projects or part of a mlti discipline team. Yo will be responsible for ensring projects are carried ot safely, to programme and within bdget.

• Leads a team of engineers in the design, procrement, implementation and installation of a range high-pressre gas transmission projects.
• Establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with Maintenance, Network and third parties to achieve SGN's strategic objectives.
• Effectively manages a team to deliver specific projects while demonstrating high performance with regards to Safety, Engineering and Vale for Money.
• Efficient management of contractors within Contracts and Framework Agreements.
• Applies effective project controls to ensre delivery of every project on time and on bdget.

What we're looking for:

• Yo will have gas transmission project experience in an engineering environment. Knowledge and experience of working in the gas, process or petrochemical indstries wold be an advantage.
• Previos management or spervisory experience is reqired together with good inflencing, coaching and commnication skills allowing yo to work with honesty and integrity at all times.
• Yo shold be edcated to Degree or HND standard in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Yo mst have a valid driving licence as this role will involve a certain amont of travel.
