Parts Coordinator / Parts Advisor

We are recruiting for a Parts Coordinator to join an established engineering business based in Epping. This is a varied role involving customer enquiries, spare parts identification, quotations, purchasing and order processing. There is also a small hands-on element, including picking, packing and preparing parts for dispatch when required. We're looking for somebody with experience in parts, engineering supplies, technical sales or a similar environment who enjoys taking ownership of the whole process, from initial customer enquiry through to delivery. Key Duties * Respond to customer enquiries for spare parts and replacement components. * Identify the correct parts using part numbers, product information and technical drawings. * Prepare quotations and process customer orders. * Check stock availability and arrange purchasing where required. * Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery times. * Follow up quotations and outstanding orders. * Keep customers updated on order progress and delivery times. * Pick, pack and prepare parts for dispatch when required. * Work closely with engineers, stores and other internal departments. * Maintain accurate stock, purchasing and order records.
