This role is specifically aimed at candidates who hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning, or relevant SEND qualification and have practical experience working with children in a UK school environment. Requirements: * MUST hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching and Learning or relevant SEND qualification * MUST have previous UK school-based experience * Experience supporting pupils with SEND is essential * Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion * Confident working with children on a 1:1 and small-group basis * Patient, calm and nurturing approach * Reliable and professional The Role: * Providing 1:1 and small-group SEND support * Supporting pupils to access classroom learning * Assisting with differentiated activities and interventions * Supporting pupils with communication, learning and behavioural needs * Encouraging independence and confidence * Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour * Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs * Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback The Ideal Candidate: * Level 2 qualified * Recent UK school experience * Previous SEND experience within a primary setting * ...
