Maintenance Team Member - Part Time

Job Description

We're looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Team Member on a part-time basis to join our team at Novotel Birmingham Centre. You'll help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented hotel environment for both guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Complete general maintenance repairs and rectify defects.
• Undertake painting and decorating works.
• Perform routine checks across bedrooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Support the wider team in maintaining hotel standards and compliance.

About You

• Previous hotel maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in DIY, maintenance, painting or decorating is welcomed.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to carry out basic repairs safely and effectively.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
