Pay: £93–£100 per day\n
Contract: Full-time, term-time only\n
Hours: Monday–Friday\n
\nAre you a caring, enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant who loves helping young children learn and grow?\n
\nWe’re working with a welcoming primary school in Cardiff who are looking for a fantastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 classroom.\n
\nThis is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, building positive relationships with children and being part of a supportive school team.\n
\n
The Role\n
\nAs a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:\n
\n

\n
• Support the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom.
\n
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to support their learning and development.
\n
• Help children develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
\n
• Provide encouragement and reassurance to pupils as they transition into Key Stage 1.
\n
• Support with classroom activities, phonics, reading, writing and practical learning.
\n
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
\n
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
\n

• Experienced working within a primary school or with children.
