Senior/Principal Structural Analysis Engineer – Aerospace- Permanent role- circa £75,000 DOE Location: Bristol, UK – Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week on-site) Shape the Future of Aerospace Are you an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer looking for your next challenge? Want to work on some of the most innovative tech out there? Join a growing aerospace engineering team working on mission-critical technology across Defence, Security and Space. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through to manufacturing and structural testing. This is a hands-on role where your analysis will directly influence the design and performance of cutting-edge aerospace structures. What You’ll Be Doing * Carry out static strength analysis of metallic and composite aerospace structures. * Build, run and post-process FEA models using tools such as Nastran, ANSYS and Altair. * Analyse components, sub-assemblies and full-airframe load cases. * Produce high-quality stress reports and structural substantiation. * Support structural testing, including predictions and correlation of test results. * Apply industry-standard methods and references including Roark, Niu, Bruhn, MMPDS and ESDU. * Work closely with design, manufacturing, test teams, customers and suppliers. * Plan and manage your own workload, estimates and delivery timescales.
