Assistant Cafe Manager / Cook

Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Manager / Cook to join our client’s waterfront café based in Levington on a temporary to permanent or permanent basis depending on business requirements. The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the café, supporting with food and drink preparation, customer service, stock and supply ordering, and general operational duties. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working with customers and has a passion for food and hospitality. The successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous cooking or café/hospitality experience would be preferred, although the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. Due to the waterfront location, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport. Hours: 5 days out of 7, including weekends, 8:00AM – 4:00PM Key Responsibilities: Preparing and serving a range of food and drinks to a high standard.
