Full job description Mobile Plant Fitter Location: Caythorpe, NG32 Salary: £17.00 – £21.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 12-hour day shifts, 6:00am – 6:00pm 4 on 4 off shifts Overtime: Paid after 45 hours We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team and support operations within the waste management sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plant Fitter with strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic experience to work in a busy waste processing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of mobile and static plant machinery to ensure maximum equipment reliability and site performance. Key Responsibilities * Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant equipment, including loaders, compactors, conveyors, shredders, balers, and picking lines. * Diagnose and repair faults within hydraulic systems to minimise equipment downtime. * Maintain, install, and troubleshoot electrical looms, wiring, and connections across plant machinery. * Complete mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault finding and diagnostics. * Carry out repairs and servicing efficiently and safely. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment performance, faults, and recurring issues. * Work closely with operations and engineering teams to support site efficiency. ...
