Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We are recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive school in the Bedford (MK42) area seeking an experienced SEN TA to join their team on a full-time basis.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential within a nurturing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND.
- Support students with Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and other additional learning needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
- Encourage independence, social development, and positive learning behaviours.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
