About Community Integrated Care
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest health and social care charities. We transform lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred support that fosters independence and empowerment.
Our charity was founded in 1988, and we were one of the pioneers of the 'Care in the Community' agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.
Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.
Who you'll be supporting
We are 11 people supported in our individual flats with a bungalow attached. Our ages range from 21 to 75, with different abilities and level of support needs required.
We live in Hindley area WA2, located near the high street, with a few shops within walking distance from our service. There is a local swimming pool, library, gyms, and charity shops, places where we like to go.
What you'll be doing
This service is complex so you will have some experience working with PEG feeds, Epilepsy, Buccal, Moving and Positioning, however we will provide further training.
The person you'll be supporting will be at college some days of the week, therefore we need a mixture of the advertised shifts above.
What we're looking for
We recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role will have professional experience, and we recruit people from all walks of life.
You should share our company values: We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable.
- Patience
- Empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others
